MELEE digression

Started a new subject and thread.

Valid.

Ran mailman for many years and over many distro's and servers. (and mailing
lists.. at one time over 100 back in the era) After the last cluster of
crap it spewed, I wrote MELEE.. Mailman is awesome.. mailman is a pain to
admin and when it blows..  it's a mess.

MELEE needs work and updating, I'll admit. It's been a while. But other
projects have been priorities. Gotta do some other things this weekend..

You willing to help with suggesting and vetting some changes on a test
list? Say... next Wednesday evening?  Some near real time feedback with
other eyeballs while making changes would be useful. I also need to add it
to the  my ForgeJo Git server and.. and.. and.. stare at code and remember
how it works.

Anyone else want to be a test subject?   --Mike--

happy to help in any way.

I don't think the changes I'm suggesting are significant. depending on why
the line break appears in the from header, that could be due to some bug in
the code. or there could just be a line break in there that could be
removed.

changing the other headers should be trivial (famous last words)

wednesday is fine until about 10pm eastern.
